Although Ace Structural is relatively new to the scene, its sister company, Damon Engineering, has been completing structural work for its clients for many years. As legislation increases around Earthquake strengthening, refurbishments and new builds, the opportunity to separate the businesses became logical.
Manny Magallanes
With 18 years in the building industry from the Phillipines, Manny is a qualified and registered Civil Engineer. Manny is proficient is Estimating, Quoting and Project management and heads up our QS department..
Nick Wezenbeek
The management of the fabrication (Metal work) shop is handled by Nick Wezenbeek. Nick is a qualified Sheet Metal Engineer with Advanced Trade and has over 35 years in CNC production/ manufacturing, laser cutting, structural fabrication and installation, pollution control and air conditioning ducting, folding and welding techniques plus design and manufacture of solutions engineering. He also manages the co-ordination of all jobs and manages client design and build jobs as well as quoting and scheduling.
Jared Beynon
Jared has started in the office bringing his extensive experience of fabrication in sheet metal and structural to our team. He is very accomplished with site management and installation and leads a competent team of skilled engineers.
Structural Welders
All structural welders at Ace hold welding certificates, are site safe accredited and want to please every client. Ace Structural has its own internal systems to double check every job for accuracy before it is fully welded. Ace strives for 100% accuracy.
Chris Barrett
Ace Structural is owned by Chris Barrett. Chris has run several engineering companies but his background was in corporate restructures and financial rescues. Chris has been group CEO for a number of large companies over the last 20 years and therefore understands CAPEX, Profit and Loss constraints and project management at a very senior level and can ensure timing and cost needs of its clients are met. Chris is totally committed to excellence in all areas.
